Laura and Sam’s summer wedding at Swallows Nest Barn was all about having a good time. From the outset, their priority was simple, enjoy the day, be present with friends and family, and throw a great party. Everything else followed naturally from that.
Set in the Warwickshire countryside, Swallows Nest Barn gave them the perfect balance of relaxed rural charm and polished surroundings, with space to celebrate properly from start to finish.

The venue
Swallows Nest Barn is a beautifully converted barn just outside Warwick, with a central courtyard for drinks, open countryside for portraits and a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout.
It is easy to reach from across the UK, which made travelling straightforward for guests, and the layout allowed the day to flow effortlessly from ceremony to reception. The food was also a real highlight and something guests still talk about.
A relaxed summer celebration
The weather could not have been better, bright and warm without being overpowering. Speeches were full of laughter, emotions ran high in all the right ways, and once the formalities were over, the focus shifted firmly to the dance floor.
Laura and Sam wanted their photographer to capture real moments rather than staged ones, and the result was a collection of images that reflect the energy of the day exactly as it felt.

Bridal style and details
Laura wore a gown by Astra, chosen from Haarlem Bridal, paired with soft, natural styling that suited the barn setting perfectly. Make up was by Lauren Victoria, keeping everything fresh and effortless.
Flowers by Albetine Floral complemented the rustic surroundings without overpowering them, adding texture and warmth across the venue.
Stationery and finishing touches
Wedding stationery was by Tavern Creative, setting the tone ahead of the day and tying everything together visually. Confetti by Shropshire Petals added a joyful moment straight after the ceremony, creating some of the most relaxed and celebratory images of the day.
One of the most talked about details was the cake, a five tier cheese cake from The Mousetrap Cheese Shop, which suited the laid back, fun nature of the celebration perfectly.

Food, music and the party
Catering was provided by Lemon Zest, keeping guests well fed before the evening celebrations began.
Music was by Conga Revolution, who brought serious energy and kept the dance floor packed well into the night. This was a wedding where people genuinely did not want to stop dancing.
A day that felt like them
Laura and Sam’s wedding was proof that when you focus on what matters most to you, everything else falls into place. Good people, great food, plenty of laughter and a venue that lets you relax into the day.
