Size
Each Save the Date card is A6 size (148 x 105mm).
The envelopes are C6 (114 x 162mm).

Our Card
We'll print your Save the Date cards on thick 300gsm card stock - Fedrigoni, Old Mill Bianco. Our board has a light coating and an off-white finish. Our card is FSC-certified. 

Envelopes
Each Save the Date card comes with an envelope. The envelopes have a diamond-gummed flap and measure 114 x 162mm.

Production Process
Once you've placed your order and confirmed your design, we'll print and dispatch your Save the Date cards within one working day.
For same-day dispatch, please purchase and approve by 9 am (GMT).

What to expect

Card Stock

All of our save the dates are printed on a 350gsm, off-white, uncoated card stock with a subtle texture. Old Mill Bianco is our signature card. It's luxurious, a great thickness and works well with all of our designs.

If you would prefer a different card for your save the dates please let us know when you place your order. We can change your save the dates card stock to a smooth high white, a one-side coated card stock or if you'd like something custom, just let us know and we'll be happy to source it for you.

Envelopes

All save the dates are supplied with matching envelopes. Our envelopes are available in a range 9 colours. All Save The Date envelopes are high quality and compliment our range of designs perfectly. With the exception of our Kraft and Blush colours, all envelope papers are made usingGF Smith Colorplan papers.

Delivery

We ship all full save the date orders with DHL Express. This service is fast, fully tracked and very reliable.

The estimated delivery times from dispatch are as follows:

  • UK: 1-2 Working Days
  • Europe: 2-4 Working Days
  • USA: 1-4 Working Days
  • Everywhere Else: 2-6 Working Days.

Sample save the dates are sent with 1st class post and the estimated delivery times from dispatch are as follows:

  • UK: 1-4 Working Days
  • Europe: 8-12 Working Days
  • USA: 8-16 Working Days
  • Everywhere Else: 10-20 Working Days

This service isn't tracked, but is very reliable. You're welcome to upgrade your save the date sample order to Express Delivery at the checkout.

Design

You can create your save the date design before or after you place your order.*

We have 2 ways to create your design:

  1. You can create your design yourself using our online design tool. Once purchased, we'll pair your order with your design and send you a confirmation email before print.
  2. We can create your design for you. Simply send us your wording and design requirements and we'll show you your save the date design for approval before print.

*Free design service and our online design tool isn't available for bespoke designs or venue sketch/illustration wedding save the dates.

  • How do I personalise my save the dates?

    We have 2 ways to create your design:

    1. You can create your design yourself using our online design tool. Once purchased, we'll pair your order with your design and send you a confirmation email before print.
    2. We can create your design for you. Simply send us your wording and design requirements and we'll show you your save the date design for approval before print.

  • What size are your save the dates?

    All of our save the dates are A6 postcard size. That's 148x105mm (approximately 6x4").

    The envelopes are C6, which is a perfect size for an A6 card - 162x114mm.

    We think this is the perfect size for a save the date card, but if you would like a different size, let us know and we'll be happy to create a custom order for you.

  • How thick are your save the dates?

  • Do the save the dates come with envelopes?

    All save the dates are supplied with matching envelopes. The envelope colour will be shown in the listing images and mentioned in the description. If you'd like a different envelope colour, let us know.

  • When should I order my save the dates?

    We always recommend ordering your save the dates 10-14 months before your big day. This gives your guests enough time to pencil in your date and ensure they are able to attend. This estimate does vary by culture, for example the advice in the US is to send your invitations and save the dates a little closer to the wedding day. Ultimately the choice is yours, based on your guests and requirements.

  • Can I add information on the reverse of my save the dates?

    Yes, you're welcome to include as much or a little information as you want on your save the dates. This includes printing on the reverse for no additional charge. Here you can include additional guest information, a website link, a QR code or anything else you may need to let you guests know.
