Our Square Wallet Fold Venue Sketch Wedding Invitations offer a timeless and tactile way to introduce your guests to your big day. Featuring a bespoke venue sketch, printed on textured 300gsm card, these invitations are finished with a gold foliage wax seal and kraft envelope. Choose between a raw, hand-deckled edge or a neat, straight cut edge for a look that suits your style.

Create Your Design
Once ordered, send us your wording and venue photo to studio@taverncreative.com and we'll create your hand-drawn venue sketch and invitation design for approval before print.

Invitation Details:
Size: 148 x 318mm when laid flat, folds to 148 x 148mm square
Card: 300gsm Fedrigoni Old Mill Bianco (off-white with a subtle texture)
Finish: Choose between hand-torn deckled edge or clean straight edge. Deckled Edge is on the one folded edge only - please allow one extra working day for production. Listing images show deckled edge variant.
Envelope: Kraft square envelopes included (154 x 154mm)
Wax Seal: Includes a gold foliage wax seal with a peel and seal backing for easy application.
Turnaround: Design - 3-5 working days. Print 1-2 working days.
Dispatch: Tracked delivery included for full orders

🎨 Hand-Drawn Venue Sketch
Once you place your order, send us a clear photo of your venue. We'll create a custom illustration just for you (this takes around 3-4 working days). You'll receive a digital proof to approve before we print.
Please note: By submitting your venue photo, you are commissioning the sketch. Sketch revisions or redraws may incur a small fee. The finished artwork is yours to keep.

What to expect

Card Stock

All of our Square Venue Sketch Wallet Invitation – Wax Seal, Kraft Envelope, Deckled Edge or Straight Edge Wedding Invite – Custom Illustration are printed on a 350gsm, off-white, uncoated card stock with a subtle texture. Old Mill Bianco is our signature card. It's luxurious, a great thickness and works well with all of our designs.

If you would prefer a different card for your Square Venue Sketch Wallet Invitation – Wax Seal, Kraft Envelope, Deckled Edge or Straight Edge Wedding Invite – Custom Illustration please let us know when you place your order. We can change your wedding invitation card stock to a smooth high white, a one-side coated card stock or if you'd like something custom, just let us know and we'll be happy to source it for you.

Envelopes

All wedding invitations are supplied with matching envelopes. Our envelopes are available in a range 9 colours. All wedding invitation envelopes are high quality and compliment our range of designs perfectly. With the exception of our Kraft and Blush colours, all envelope papers are made usingGF Smith Colorplan papers.

Delivery

We ship all full invitation orders with DHL Express. This service is fast, fully tracked and very reliable.

The estimated delivery times from dispatch are as follows:

  • UK: 1-2 Working Days
  • Europe: 2-4 Working Days
  • USA: 1-4 Working Days
  • Everywhere Else: 2-6 Working Days.

Sample wedding invitations are sent with 1st class post and the estimated delivery times from dispatch are as follows:

  • UK: 1-4 Working Days
  • Europe: 8-12 Working Days
  • USA: 8-16 Working Days
  • Everywhere Else: 10-20 Working Days

This service isn't tracked, but is very reliable. You're welcome to upgrade your wedding invitation sample order to Express Delivery at the checkout.

Design

You can create your wedding invitation design before or after you place your order.*

We have 2 ways to create your design:

  1. You can create your design yourself using our online design tool. Once purchased, we'll pair your order with your design and send you a confirmation email before print.
  2. We can create your design for you. Simply send us your wording and design requirements and we'll show you your wedding invitation design for approval before print.

  • How do I personalise my Square Venue Sketch Wallet Invitation – Wax Seal, Kraft Envelope, Deckled Edge or Straight Edge Wedding Invite – Custom Illustration?

    We have 2 ways to design your Wedding Invitations:

  • What size are your Wedding Invitations?

    The size of your wedding invitations will depend on the format you choose.

    Single Card Invitations: 7x5" (127x177mm), supplied with matching 7x5" envelopes.

    All In One Invitations: When folded shut they are A6 (148x105mm). When laid flat, the 4 panels measure 148x420mm, supplied with matching C6 envelopes.

    Gatefold Invitations: When folded shut they are 7x5" (127x77mm), supplied with matching 7x5" envelopes.

  • How thick are your Wedding Invitations?

  • When should I order my Wedding Invitations?

    We always recommend ordering your wedding invitations 6-12 months before your big day. This gives your guests enough time to pencil in your date and ensure they are able to attend. If you're sending save the date cards, you can leave it a little later as your guests will already be aware of your date by the time they receive your wedding invitation. By contrast, if you're having a destination wedding, we advise sending them out by the 12 month to go mark as your guests will have a lot more to consider and plan if travelling abroad. These estimates do vary by culture, for example the advice in the US is to send your invitations out around 6 weeks before your wedding. Ultimately the choice is yours, based on your guests and requirements.

  • Do you offer matching insert cards?

    Yes we can create any size insert card for all of our wedding invitations format. These include menus, RSVPs, gift wish cards, guest information and more. Insert cards are a great way to turn your single card invitations and gatefold invitations into a wedding invitation suite or wedding invitation bundle. If you opt for our All In One format, you probably won't need additional insert cards. The front of the invite has 4 panels to play with and you're welcome to print on the reverse of the invitations too, for no additional charge.
